For additional information visit www.uhs.com. The Corporate Supply Chain Department is currently seeking a dynamic and talented Contract Analyst - Pharmacy Non-Acute Sourcing. The Contract Analyst - Pharmacy Non-Acute Sourcing provides support for alt site contracting and sourcing initiatives across multiple categories including pharmacy, supply, and purchased services. Assists with processing and reporting of UHS rebates, administration fees, reverse distribution fees, and vendor KPI penalty payments. Manages Category spend of approximately $75 Million Dollars for acute care hospitals, behavioral health hospitals and physician practice offices. Performs all data collection tasks and analysis related to initiatives. Performs contract management functions including routing contracts for review/approval in contract management system, loading contracts in repository and overall document management. Participates in contract reviews ensuring that the terms and conditions are in compliance with UHS Legal and various Corporate Departments. Prepares RFP development and analysis with oversight. Attends vendor meetings as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Customer service oriented
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of project management
  • An understanding of contract terms and conditions.
  • Excellent written, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work with deadlines
  • Travel Requirements: 5% US travel

  • Previous experience with management of contracted funds, such as rebates, is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and implements tasks that relate to complex projects including overall management of documentation, facilitating meetings, following up on information, etc.
  • Obtains necessary data points and performs analytics in support of contract initiatives.
  • Performs contract management functions including loading contracts in Contract Management System and archiving of documentation.
  • Works as part of a team to ensure UHS rebates, administration fees, reverse distribution fees, and vendor KPI penalty payments are received, recorded and reported appropriately according to UHS protocol.
  • Assists with validation of rebate data entered into ECM against contract language according to UHS protocol.
  • Reviews the terms and conditions of local facility contracts to ensure compliance with UHS Legal specifications. Coordinates the review and routing of contracts per established procedures.
  • Participates in the development of new technologies/automation for existing processes; identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Travels as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
