About The Position

Under the supervision of the Service Contracts Manager, the Physician-Service Contracts Analyst II is responsible for the ongoing management of an assigned contract portfolio of various physician-related agreements and purchased services agreements, which may include medical director agreements, ancillary agreements, joinder agreements, employee leasing, space leasing, amendments, physician employment agreements as well as standard agreements for purchased services. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following: drafting healthcare-specific and service-related agreements; tracking the performance, invoicing, timesheets, renewals and terminations of the same; compliance reporting; managing/tracking any fair market value analysis requirements; preparing annual budgets for physician expenses; and working with Risk Management, other departments, and outside counsel, as needed relating to any physician-related and service agreement inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Accounting, Nursing, Supply Chain or related field
• two to five years’ experience in health law or regulatory compliance
• Knowledge and experience with negotiating and implementing contracts
• understanding of healthcare related laws and regulations such as Stark, Anti-Kick Back, fraud and abuse and similar laws
• Advanced proficiency skill level with computer-based analytical tools such as Excel and other database applications
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
• Strong interpersonal verbal communication and proficient writing skills

Nice To Haves

• MBA, MHA, or other healthcare or compliance-related degree
• Knowledge related to the use of Oracle’s Peoplesoft software
