About The Position

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is seeking a Contract Administrator to help support a wide range of contract administration activities while partnering closely with Program Managers, Business Development, Finance, and other internal stakeholders. This individual will play a key role in reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts of moderate complexity while ensuring compliance with internal policies and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting contract administration in Federal contracting, preferably DoD.
  • Knowledge and understanding of FAR, DFARS, and applicable FAR supplements, with the ability to interpret clauses and explain contractual impacts.
  • Experience supporting, drafting, and reviewing, contractual documents (NDAs, TAs, Subcontracts, Mods).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cost-type, T&M, and FFP contracts.
  • Experience supporting proposal development.
  • Exposure to commercial contracting.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and analyzes moderately complex client contracts, SOWs, modifications, and amendments for risk, compliance, and alignment to company policy.
  • Develops and reviews, NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and Subcontract Agreements.
  • Supports and, when appropriate, leads low-risk negotiations of terms and conditions using sound contracting principles, escalating complex matters to senior contract personnel.
  • Supports coordination of review and input from legal, finance, accounting, security, and risk groups when applicable.
  • Administers prime contracts and subcontracts to ensure compliance with performance requirements, deliverables, and billing provisions.
  • Provides guidance to program teams on contractual scope, interpretation, and change management.
  • Supports proposal teams by preparing representations, certifications, and coordinates review of terms & conditions, and pricing assumptions.
  • Tracks contract funding, period of performance, modifications, and deliverables through contract lifecycle.
  • Assists in preparing Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REA), claims documentation, and close-out packages.
  • Identifies contractual risks and coordinates mitigation strategies with senior staff.
