About The Position

The Contracts Administrator works under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and is responsible for creating and reviewing contracts documents and ensuring contract compliance. They maintain contract briefing details for all assigned contracts. The Contracts Administrator creates and maintains contract reporting documents for Program Management and other internal departments. They are responsible maintaining contract documentation in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and DCAA requirements, ensuring accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance throughout the contract lifecycle as well as financial reporting requirements. The Contracts Administrator ensures all contract specific requirements are shared with all relevant internal departments. They provide essential support to Program Managers and ensure accuracy in all contract-related operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field OR equivalent relevant experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a United States Security Clearance .
  • Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of federal acquisition laws and regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
  • Experience supporting Government or DOD contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain working level understanding of the US Government Acquisition and Procurement environment.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, both directly to the Government and to other prime contractors, including review and analysis of solicitations and conducting price analysis of subcontractors.
  • Conduct the preparation of required contract deliverables (e.g., Monthly and Weekly Reports, Funds and Man-Hour Reports, OPSEC Plans, and Program Review materials) within established deadlines.
  • Enter, verify, and reconcile contract data (funding, labor categories, rates, ceilings, and periods of performance) across internal tracking and reports.
  • Support internal and external audits by retrieving, validating, and explaining contract data.
  • Assist in the tracking and management of contract modifications, options, and funding.
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g. payments and shipping).
  • Maintain organized system of physical and digital records.
  • Perform other duties as required.
