About The Position

Contract Administrator Sr. Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. The Contract Administrator Sr. is responsible for researching, writing, filing, and implementing the most complex policy and certificate forms for group and individual major medical products, ancillary products, long term care products and HMO products. How you will make an impact: Creates and maintains documentation for individual/group certificates/policies. Works independently and with specialists, attorneys, and outside vendors to identify complex issues/solutions by analysis, testing and resolution. Ensures products comply with state and federal laws. Files documents with state department of insurance for approval. Monitors state and federal legislation affecting company products. Recommends compliance review processes and participates in compliance efforts. Provides primary compliance review of marketing materials and product advertising. Manages projects and/or participates in corporate initiatives. Administers the electronic publishing system/Access databases including technical direction of interface programs. Compiles and analyzes data in support of contract development: analyzes state and federal legislation; identifies new legislation that affects company products; researches regulatory issues; recognizes the absence of critical elements of information; perceives ambiguities or contradictions requiring clarification; converts legal information into easy-to-read narrative; corresponds with state insurance departments, internal clients, and others.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
