Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Contract Administrator to join our growing team in Linthicum, MD.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years directly related experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 1 year directly related experience.
  • Candidates with 7+ years of directly related experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree will be given consideration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Adobe.
  • Experience with FAR/DFARS.
  • Current active DoD Secret clearance, with most recent periodic investigation having been completed in the last five years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SAP clearance.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience efficiently and effectively researching FAR/DFARS information.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top-Secret clearance.
  • Experience using SAP.
  • Experience with USG and Prime customers and different contract types.
  • Experience working restricted programs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues.
  • Monitor contract and associated program to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood.
  • Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Work under general supervision to develop solutions to contractual matters to ensure compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs.
  • Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and all other potential risk areas and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables, proposals, and data calls.
