HII Mission Technologies, Global Security Business Group is currently seeking a Contract Administrator to work out of our Virginia Beach, VA office. The ideal candidate is a skilled problem solver and an experienced contracts professional. The Contract Administrator will provide contract support for proposal and contract activities of varying complexity. Contract experience with Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts, task orders and subcontracts is required. A strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) is also required, and you will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all HII policies, the FAR, DFARS and other supplements, and U.S. Law.   • Review solicitations and prepare responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications
  • Administer government contracts, prime contractor subcontracts, and task orders
  • Draft and manage negotiation memoranda, correspondence, and contract documentation
  • Collaborate daily with Program Managers, Controllers, and Contracting Officers
  • Notify internal stakeholders of new awards and modifications
  • Communicate contract policies and procedures across business teams
  • Lead development and submission of compliant cost/business volumes in response to RFPs
  • Review and negotiate terms for contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, and Teaming Agreements
  • Manage post-award administration, change management, and closeout activities
  • Maintain contract records in Unison CLM and internal repositories
  • Prepare Representations & Certifications, OCI Mitigation Plans, and other documentation
  • Analyze estimates, delivery schedules, and performance requirements for accuracy
  • Advise management on contractual rights and obligations
  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of contracts experience supporting Federal Government customers
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and various contract types (CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, FFP, T&M, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently or within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management programs
  • Knowledge of Deltek CostPoint is desired
  • NCMA Contracting Certification (CFCM) desired
