Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to support our clients finance team on a 3-month contract basis. This entry-level role will focus primarily on entering and processing accounts payable invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong computer skills who is looking to gain experience in a fast-paced finance environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of accounts payable/accounting principles experience required
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- A/P experience with 3-way match
- Experience handling a high volume of invoice processing (100+ per day)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, is a plus
Responsibilities
- Enter and process vendor invoices into the company’s ERP system
- Review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation before submission for payment
- Assist the finance team with maintaining organized financial records
- Ensure invoices are coded correctly and entered in a timely manner
- Communicate with internal team members regarding invoice details when needed
- Support additional administrative tasks within the accounting department as assigned
