About The Position

Responsible for governing plant-wide operational systems and ensuring disciplined execution, documentation integrity, and financial accuracy across all departments. Serves as the plant’s independent system integrity authority, establishing and enforcing standardized operating frameworks, performance validation processes, and accountability structures that support measurable waste reduction, data credibility, and long-term flagship operational maturity.

  • Must be capable of influencing cross-functional teams and working effectively with Production, Maintenance, and leadership personnel.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant operational, continuous improvement, systems administration, or manufacturing experience will be considered.

  • Experience in food manufacturing or regulated production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the plant waste reporting structure, validate accuracy of waste-related data, and ensure financial impact is properly measured, reconciled, and communicated. Identify systemic drivers of waste and require structured corrective action plans with defined ownership and timelines.
  • Govern structured operational review processes, enforce standardized meeting formats, validate reported performance data, and ensure documented follow-through on agreed corrective actions.
  • Serve as Redzone system administrator with configuration authority and ensure system integrity, standardization, and alignment with ERP/Navision consumption data.
  • Maintain high reconciliation accuracy through monitoring, auditing, and corrective action processes.
  • Develop, implement, and sustain standardized startup and supervisory work practices.
  • Partner with Production and Maintenance leadership to improve work order discipline, OEE performance, and operational consistency.
  • Conduct routine compliance reviews across shifts to ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Authorized to conduct structured cross-department operational audits to verify adherence to standardized operating procedures and documentation practices. Issue documented findings and require corrective action plans with defined ownership and timelines.
  • Operate as an independent systems oversight function, ensuring objectivity in performance validation and documentation integrity across shifts and departments.
  • Validate that operational reporting accurately reflects financial impact, ensuring reconciliation between system data, waste reporting, and ERP/financial systems.
  • Escalate unresolved systemic non-compliance directly to the Plant Manager and require documented corrective action plans with defined ownership and resolution timelines.
  • Prioritize system governance, documentation integrity, and performance validation over ad hoc project execution; continuous improvement initiatives must align with established plant system standards and governance priorities.
  • This role does not assume direct operational control of production, maintenance, quality, or scheduling functions, but governs the systems, documentation standards, and accountability mechanisms through which those functions operate.
