We are building a foundational Continuous Improvement (CI) program to transform the way we work--and we're seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to support the Director of Business Innovation and Continuous Improvement. This role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, reimagining workflows, and implementing sustainable, technology-enabled solutions that improve productivity, reduce complexity, and enhance customer and employee experiences. Leveraging Lean Six Sigma principles, the CI Specialist will facilitate Kaizen events, implement tools like standard work, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis, and partner closely with subject matter experts across Product Support, Power, Rental, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Finance. The goal is to uncover opportunities, eliminate operational friction, and streamline processes in ways that are data-driven, measurable, and aligned with organizational goals. Working alongside the Information Technology team, this role ensures that process improvements translate into scalable, user-friendly solutions integrated with enterprise platforms such as AI capabilities, ERP systems, workflow automation tools, and other business applications. This is an opportunity to help shape a high-impact CI function from the ground up and deliver lasting value across the organization.

  • Partner with operational and frontline teams to implement and sustain improvements
  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, process improvement workshops, and cross-functional problem-solving sessions
  • Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities using Lean tools (e.g., 5S, spaghetti diagrams, standard work, visual controls)
  • Conduct value stream mapping and develop future-state workflows aligned with business goals
  • Analyze process performance using data-driven methods
  • Identify opportunities to utilize Generative Artificial Intelligence, digitize, automate, or simplify workflows with measurable outcomes
  • Help foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organization through training, coaching, and recognition
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence
  • 2-3 Years of hands-on experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred)
  • Proven experience leading or supporting Kaizen events, value stream mapping, or A3 initiatives
  • Ability to analyze data, create process visuals (flowcharts, VSMs), and track improvement metrics
  • Skilled in facilitating cross-functional teams and frontline engagement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and CI-related platforms (e.g., Blueworks Live, Power BI)
  • Proficiency with Asana, Monday, Wrike or other related project management platforms.
  • Strong experience collaborating with software/application teams to implement business-enabling technologies.
  • Depth in process analysis, mapping, and root cause problem-solving to deliver measurable business impact.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, HRIS, service platforms, workflow automation, and process modeling tools, including integration across core enterprise systems.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence without authority and build consensus across stakeholders.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and executive communication abilities.
  • Experience in heavy equipment sales and service, dealerships, field services, or equipment rental; exposure to early-stage Continuous Improvement programs a plus.
