Discover Impactful Work: As a PPI Specialist II (Practical Process Improvement), you will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Your work will directly support data-driven decision-making and system optimization, making a significant impact! A Day in the Life: Partner with the manufacturing team to promote continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain and develop reports and dashboards for real-time visibility. Engage with the site leadership teams to discover innovative process optimization cost-reduction projects using value stream mapping, data analysis, and daily management systems. Help upload Master Data into SAP, review work order data with the manufacturing team, so collaborators can track progress and decide promptly. Arrange and take part in the RCCM and Kaizen events, incorporating components like standard procedures, statistical process control, failure mode and effects analysis, critical to quality, etc. Train, coach, and follow up with teams to ensure system improvements are sustained and the team members are running the processes independently. Manage the PPI cost-saving project funnel to keep an ongoing queue of projects to meet productivity goals. Spearhead the evolution of the Lean Management System (tiered daily management systems, Gemba walks, and leader standard work). Collaborate with the extended Division team to advocate for and establish the PPI Business System. Provide support to develop problem-solving capability within the organization at all levels. Engage in the TTT program, Lean Academy, RCCM, and additional training modules to enhance process manager skills and readiness for addressing local project requirements. Share guidelines and promote Continuous Improvement and Standard Work across all organizational elements. Perform other duties as assigned.   • A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Math, or Operations.
  • At least 2 years of industrial work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a biotech company
  • Experience with SAP data management.
  • Proven track record in process improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining performance dashboards.
  • This role requires the ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Safety protocols must be strictly followed.
  • Proven experience in Project/Program Management (PMP, 6 Sigma, or similar certification will be beneficial).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments.
