About The Position

The individual in this role will be a thought leader and experienced in the utilization of Continuous Improvement and Project Management techniques. Candidate will be responsible for the facilitation of large-scale process improvement initiatives including development of current-state and future-state process models. Must have significant experience facilitating work sessions to document current/future state workflow to achieve the most efficient future process. In addition, the candidate must have Project Management experience with skills in leading projects from inception through deployment. Working independently, the candidate must be capable of leading by role or influence. To be successful the candidate must be driven and well organized. It is essential for the individual to be self-motivated, tenacious and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This individual is expected to help lead relationships with the business, cross-impacted IT teams, and 3rd party vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a Technology field
• 7+ years of experience in Technical Leadership/Project Management

• Facilitation experience and ability to facilitate large groups of users to achieve a common strategy/goal
• Strong experience utilizing project management tools
• Understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (waterfall, agile/scrum) and project management standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Knowledge in Continuous Improvement (CI) processes
• Strong facilitation experience
• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs
• Perform data mapping and gap analysis to analyze existing processes. Recommend enhancements to processes
• Design and develop use-cases for future-state processes/workflows
• Strong investigative, analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a vast array of information
• Project or Program manager experience with ability to manage scope, budget, schedule
• Strong knowledge in software delivery: Waterfall, Agile/Iterative, and/or Scrum
• Defining and documenting business and functional requirements on complex, highly visible projects
• Experience in all phases of product, software, and testing lifecycles
• Proactively identify risks, and drive action to prioritize, mitigate, and resolve issues
• Familiarity with technical documentation (process maps, BRDs, system diagrams, user experience, application maps, test plans, use cases, test cases, etc.)
• Create and maintain project plans and schedules
• Provide mentorship to junior team members
