CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEERING INTERN Pompeian, the number one olive oil brand in America, is actively searching for rising juniors from area schools to join our Summer Internship Program 2026. We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic & skilled Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern to join our team and contribute to our efforts to put olive oil in every kitchen in America, by making it easy, fun, and exciting to switch to Pompeian Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a Production environment and learn from a passionate team of manufacturing professionals. This internship is on site at Corporate Headquarters at 4201 Pulaski highway in Baltimore 5 days a week full time. Requirements

• Enrolled in a four-year University studying applicable coursework in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management or Manufacturing
• Must be available to work June 8th – August 14th on site at 4201 Pulaski Highway at Pompeian Baltimore HQ manufacturing plant 5 days a week
• Outstanding computer skills including PowerPoint, Microsoft word and Excel
• Understanding of AutoCAD is a plus
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
• Strong digital skills in data manipulation, capacity to quickly identify problems and create solutions
• Must comply with all company policies, practices, procedures and GMP’s
• Must feel comfortable lifting up to 10 pounds
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven track record of teamwork, innovation, and initiative

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of AutoCAD is a plus

Responsibilities

• Interact with the production, maintenance and engineering teams on a daily basis to complete summer projects
• Data collection, analyze data using excel and other applications
• Work with AutoCAD to create and update projects such as; efficiency improvement, waste reduction project and lean manufacturing tools
• Work on Kaizen projects to focus on improving changeovers in Production, line efficiencies, follow up and provide feedback to management utilizing graphs, diagrams while recommending changes as needed in other areas in the Production department
• Assist with walk throughs in the plant including inspection, work zones, building construction
• Creating and updating SOP’s and assist with safety projects as needed
• Prioritizes daily work assignments to meet production needs and department goals
• Ensure all projects comply with environmental regulations and sustainable goals
• Perform duties per Pompeian’s mission, goals and core values
• All other duties and tasks assigned to support the Production department
