About The Position

About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You’ll Be Doing Drive performance improvement across aggregate operations to strengthen key financial and operational results. Lead implementation of Minimum Operating Practices across assigned sites. Embed the Aggregates Operating Model and Aggregates Management Handbook into daily operations. Identify and support operational best practices and new product or process improvement opportunities. Monitor progress on improvement initiatives and collaborate with site teams to achieve performance goals. Provide practical, hands- on guidance to optimize production processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field qualifications, and/or at least 8 years of experience in the aggregate or allied industry; or an equivalent combination of both, plus at least 4 years in a direct quarry management role.
  • Ability to optimize processes across drilling, blasting, extraction, hauling, crushing, screening, loadout, maintenance, and site management.
  • Capability to connect site geology and commercial needs to operational decision-making .
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical recommendations into practical on site execution.
  • Knowledge of Aggflow , AggQC , and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Motivation and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned Region and occasionally across North America.
