About The Position

The position involves being a key contributor to the planning and creation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Strategic Goals and Objectives related to Continuous Improvement (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost). Responsibilities include creating roadmaps for achieving targeted improvements, providing expert advice on Lean topics, and building a culture of continuous improvement across all departments. The role requires collaboration with plant and department managers to deploy lean methodologies and ensure engagement in Continuous Improvement Philosophy and Tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor level degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial or related field.
  • Demonstrated background in Lean/CI, specifically Toyota Production Systems.
  • 7-10 years' experience in Manufacturing and/or Warehousing and Distribution environments.
  • 5+ years CI leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of innovation, attention to detail, ownership, and accountability.
  • Knowledge of financial indicators and analysis for capital planning and budget management.
  • Experience leading capital projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Direct leadership of functional teams.
  • Ability to navigate organizations to achieve results.

Responsibilities

  • Primary Continuous Improvement leader for site Operations Facility.
  • Collaborate closely with plant and department managers to drive the deployment of lean methodologies.
  • Define, train, and coach teams on Lean/Continuous Improvement concepts and tools.
  • Ensure plant shop floor operations' team is engaged in Continuous Improvement.
  • Lead/participate in operations Business Process activities.
  • Lead major projects within the organization with limited oversight.
  • Coordinate and/or participate in capital initiatives and projects.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of lean tools and problem-solving standards globally.
  • Drive the development and implementation of Standard Work and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Identify and support changes/upgrades in the business environment affecting WM / ERP / XPS applications.
  • Work with Business Analyst and department managers to create and maintain dashboards and reports.
