We're looking for the best and brightest to take our company to the next level. We are seeking a detail-driven Continuous Improvement Manager with a Total Production Maintenance (TPM) focus that drives manufacturing excellence by leading autonomous maintenance, reducing equipment downtime, and fostering a proactive maintenance culture. They train teams in TPM pillars, optimize OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and align maintenance strategies with safety, quality, and cost goals. They are typically hands-on leaders, spending significant time on the shop floor.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on maintenance, reliability, or lean manufacturing.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of TPM methodologies, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and RCA techniques.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence change, and coach employees.

Responsibilities

  • TPM Strategy Deployment: Lead the implementation of TPM pillars (Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, etc.) to improve equipment reliability and OEE.
  • Culture & Training: Act as a change agent, training operators and maintenance teams to take ownership of equipment, fostering a "zero failure, zero breakdown" mindset.
  • Preventive/Predictive Maintenance: Develop and optimize maintenance strategies and schedules to move from reactive to proactive maintenance.
  • KPI Management: Drive improvements in key metrics, including Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations) spend.
  • Autonomous Maintenance Coaching: Work with production operators to perform cleaning, lubrication, and inspections to detect potential failures early.
  • Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations to address chronic equipment failures.
  • Collaboration: Partner with production, engineering, and lean teams to align maintenance with production schedules.
