About The Position

The Continuous Improvement Manager at Perfetti Van Melle is responsible for coordinating the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive margin improvement and cost reduction initiatives, while also managing lean strategies and training programs across the site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical, Sciences, Mathematics or similar disciplines, or 4 years of relevant experience in similar fields.
  • Five or more years' experience in a manufacturing environment under multiple supply roles.
  • Experience in project management with specific experience in project execution such as implementation of SMED, lean organizational designs and 5S.
  • Strong numerate, analytical, communication and influencing skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the TPM & Lean Manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation of Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing principles through a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) approach.
  • Create and manage overall lean strategy in alignment with Operations & Maintenance.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to provide recommendations on cost reduction opportunities and lean priorities.
  • Secure profitable growth through the implementation of Perfetti Performance Excellence (PPE).
  • Facilitate training and cultural transformation at all levels.
  • Drive performance improvement and organizational effectiveness.
  • Utilize the Perfetti Management Operating System (PMOS) for visual management and escalation.
  • Lead site CI implementation activities and coordinate resources.
  • Identify COGS reduction opportunities and develop solutions for implementation.
  • Develop and monitor site metrics to drive improvement changes.
