We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a CI Lead to join our manufacturing team at Kraft Heinz, based out of our Seven Hills NSW site! Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration or relevant – preferred
  • Strong knowledge in lean six sigma.
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement, deploying production systems, and in FMCG.
  • Coaching & training capability, interpersonal skills, and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Collaborative approach where you are open minded, positive and inquisitive
  • Adaptable and loves operating in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia – with full working rights

Responsibilities

  • Proven track record leading continuous improvement to reduce process losses, boost equipment reliability, and replicate successful solutions across production lines or sites.
  • Experience creating, maintaining and improving equipment and process standards in partnership with production and maintenance teams.
  • Skilled at using production data and monitoring systems to track critical process measures, set target operating conditions, and drive reliability improvements.
  • Practical experience reducing changeover downtime: setting targets, standardising steps, tracking actuals against targets, and running focused workshops to speed up changeovers.
  • Strong change-management capability: keep procedures and control strategies current and communicate updates clearly across the plant.
  • Experience planning and running regular equipment/process health checks, identifying gaps and leading actions to close them.
  • Comfortable in daily production planning meetings and reporting key performance metrics (for example, Overall Equipment Effectiveness and average time between unplanned stops) and improvement outcomes.
  • Able to coach and mentor frontline leaders and equipment owners, lead structured problem solving and root-cause analysis, prioritise fixes from loss analyses, and ensure data used for decisions is accurate.
