This role offers 8-hour shifts, assigned to a Monday through Friday shift, from 6:30AM - 4PM MST. The Salt Lake City, Henkel manufacturing facility is looking for top talent to lead our facility to Best in Class performance levels and culture. We have a clear three-to-five-year journey laid out to build capability and deliver results using the processes of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean Six Sigma (LSS). Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, high-speed preferred.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in Lean methodologies in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have a highly developed understanding of TPM methodologies and implementation.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to present proposals and projects to all levels of management.
  • Must have the ability to quantify improvements per KPI, lead RCA to solve production loss issues, lead change, and create process flows, value streams, and flow diagrams.
  • Must be proficient in the use of value stream maps, fishbone diagrams, 5S, SMED visual management, and other lean tools.
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Must have excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have demonstrated tenacity in driving through obstacles to achieve results and maintain project timelines.
  • Project management skills are a plus.
  • Must have experience with Maintenance programs (such as TBM and predictive).
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations is required.
  • Must have proficient-level to advanced-level computer skills (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Must have advanced-level math skills.
  • Must be meticulous in monitoring processes and maintaining accurate records.
  • Must have a strong commitment to safety, with demonstrated investment in safety improvement activities.
  • Must be able to follow all safety rules and PPE guidelines.
  • Must be able to work with and around hazardous materials, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Must be able to pivot and adapt to changing priorities in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Must be well organized with a high attention for detail to be able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and resources efficiently.
  • Must have good problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Must have solid interpersonal skills.
  • Must be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences, including activities for active listening, clear presentation skills, and the capacity to provide and receive feedback at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management skills are a plus.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates cross-functionally to implement identified improvements.
  • Interfaces with global leaders to report out on local production system roadmaps, performance data, and best operating practices.
  • Analyzes business processes and performs line studies to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
  • Identifies losses in efficiency for value streams and equipment and aids in implementing solutions to improve.
  • Collaborates to develop short- and long-term strategies to reduce waste.
  • Drives Kaizen, implementation of TPM, and other projects focused on improving plant efficiency, machine reliability, sustainability, and the reduction of waste.
  • Develops and leads processes to monitor the progress of projects to ensure achievement of targets.
  • All other job duties, as assigned.
