About The Position

How Does YOUR POSITION Help Us Work Toward OUR MISSION? Design process improvements in AutoCAD Initiates and facilitates lean improvement programs and activities Lead and support lean improvement processes using techniques like Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and Kanban. Train and guide teammates on lean improvement and oversee projects. Identify and address ongoing training needs for lean improvement. Ensure safety and ergonomic practices are followed. Identify and solve areas of improvement. Track financial savings against goals. Perform data analysis using Excel and Power BI. Responsible for leadership and development of programs that educate teammates about lean concepts that lead to the identification, development, and implementation of improvements at all the Fuchs operations. Typical improvement activity results in improves safety, productivity, quality and cost reductions. Develop justifications and manage changes for process improvements. Support external customers with value-added initiatives. Support the development of standard operating procedures. Provide Continuous Improvement activity support to the entire facility. Develop and maintain value stream maps, continuous improvement plans, and schedules.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome.
  • Strong change management skills to include the practical implementation of Lean Manufacturing Principles and Concepts.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Support leadership using problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to organize and plan use of time and people effectively and efficiently.
  • BS, BA or similar degree with an emphasis in manufacturing, or equivalent is desired
  • Full working knowledge of Lean Concepts with demonstrated success

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma experience is a plus
