About The Position

The CI Process Engineer collaborates with Global R&D and the New York Product Development team to support the launch of new products and the advancement of process technologies. This role ensures that the local Quality Assurance (QA) and Processing Units are fully prepared for trials and communicates schedules effectively to NY Development Groups. Additionally, the engineer is responsible for procedural process revisions and timely submission of Global FMB trial summaries. A key focus of this role is driving product quality improvements and sharing best practices across global facilities.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly Process Quality Reviews for new products and address outstanding quality concerns.
  • Coordinate the introduction of new formulas and process modifications at the local level.
  • Serve as the quality liaison between manufacturing and R&D for new technologies and process implementation.
  • Organize and facilitate pre-FMB and FMB trials, ensuring clear communication between R&D, Processing, QA, and Packaging teams.
  • Attend R&D New Product and Marketing Team meetings, providing updates to internal teams.
  • Chair local New Product meetings to inform staff about upcoming developments and schedules.
  • Review and submit formal process revision requests and maintain documentation in the master formula record database.
  • Ensure FMB formula worksheets are approved and that materials are available before scheduling FMB activities.
  • Execute special Processing and QA projects as assigned by the Unit Leader.
  • Investigate quality concerns, document findings, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Train Quality Assurance and operational teams on new methods and technologies.
  • Evaluate problematic processes and recommend improvements to enhance quality and productivity.
