Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS Project.
  • Understanding of general industrial process and control systems.
  • Working knowledge of basic statistical tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and successfully leverage internal and external resources.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, able to prioritize and meet budgets, deadlines and achieve objectives.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional improvement teams.
  • Effective communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Leads or participates in improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and non-value-add work utilizing standard practices such as Lean, Six Sigma, and problem solving.
  • Support the development and validation of new capacity and processes.
  • Works closely with GSC personnel to develop or enhance new processes across the GSC workstreams.
  • Provides coaching and continuous improvement training to GSC personnel.
  • Facilitates improvement teams or improvement event.
  • Analyzes processes and procedures to identify and develop strategies to improve safety, quality, increase capacity and improve productivity.
  • Utilizes change management strategies for implementation.
  • Performs analytics and updates reporting to support organizational initiatives through advanced knowledge of organizational data and processes.
  • Demonstrates project management capability by defining project requirements and milestones, tracking progress, resolving problems, communicating progress, and recommending actions.

Benefits

  • The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $125,000 annually, with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance.
