About The Position

The Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer at Sargento is responsible for promoting and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational processes. This role acts as a change agent, leading initiatives to identify and eliminate variation and waste, ensuring sustainable solutions are established. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and develop teams in improvement processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvement projects across operations to meet and sustain operational goals.
• Identify and implement Continuous Improvement (CI) events, tools, methods, and processes.
• Develop and mentor others in the CI process and formal problem-solving techniques at the plant level.
• Enhance Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and employee work life by analyzing and modifying manufacturing methods and equipment.
• Apply statistical methods and conduct system/product/process analysis to assure quality.
• Validate testing methods and review finished product and process capabilities to establish standards.
• Evaluate, improve, and document manufacturing processes in collaboration with management and engineering teams.
• Facilitate improvements in manufacturing processes as a team member or facilitator with Production and Operations Leadership.
