About The Position
Heliox, a Siemens business, is providing electric vehicle charging solutions to some of the biggest companies and cities in America. As the Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be a key part of the Research and Development team, responsible for the ongoing design changes needed to support the continuous evolution of existing and new industry-leading heavy-duty-vehicle charging systems. You will be responsible for evolving design and testing of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies for the Heliox EVSE product portfolio. Responsibilities cover all aspects of continuous product support including quality, cost, safety, and performance. You will regularly collaborate with other development teams and departments and use CAD (Solidworks) to deliver complete and accurate product documentation including 3D models, 2D drawings, bill of materials (BOMs), and technical literature. Additionally, you will work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to validate and improve existing designs, and iterate new product concepts towards production.
