The Role: Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Fall 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. What You’ll Do: Support improvement projects to help San Luis Obispo site to attain higher levels of safety, quality and productivity. Evaluate and measure process performance, identify root causes of poor process performance, prove the causes, develop countermeasures to mitigate causes, implement mitigating actions in a timely manner, check if the mitigations worked, and standardize the improvements. What We Seek: Completion of 2 or more years with selected major in Industrial or Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Eligibility: Must be a currently enrolled student Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September. Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.
