About The Position

The role is in the Enterprise Lean Office team, whose work includes enterprise lean consulting, program strategy, development of enterprise standards and job tools, functional area support, and reporting, in addition to a variety of lean management and performance initiatives. This role supports the team's effort to provide lean expertise to leadership and cross-functional teams regarding development, implementation, and lean maturity across the organization. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland, CA based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a subject matter expert in area of field and applies extensive knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Creating and updating Lean Standards for the enterprise, ensuring the supporting materials are consistent.
  • Developing and/or applying innovative tools and solutions to support lean programs and enterprise-wide initiatives, with a focus on how the lean program helps solve challenges and improve efficiency.
  • Supporting development of materials for educating employees and leaders on lean plays to support organization-wide understanding and application of lean.
  • Helping drive continuous improvement in lean program; consistently demonstrating innovative new thinking focused on lean strategy, performance and implementation.
  • Develop communication for the enterprise on new lean resources and programs.
  • Provides leadership and support in development of business planning and strategy for program design.
  • Develops and implements effective business strategies in support of the company and department.
  • Collaborates with leaders and stakeholders to work on issues, projects or activities.
  • Leads moderate to complex projects with a medium to high corporate or functional priority.
  • Identifies, analyzes and improves existing business processes at enterprise level to meet new goals and objectives.
  • Leads implementation of process improvements and efficiencies at enterprise level.
  • Leveraging contacts within and beyond the Company to pressure-test and refine lean solutions.
