The Continuous Improvement Area Manager is a key leadership role focused on driving operational excellence across multiple plant operations. This position involves ensuring the sustainability of Manufacturing Operating Systems to achieve consistent manufacturing excellence. The manager will coach and guide plant teams in implementing new working methods, tools, and processes, with a strong emphasis on LEAN and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

  • Support onsite in implementing the plant management's strategic plan by working closely with union partners and managers.
  • Facilitate work sessions onsite to support activities in line with Core Operating System, including facilitating kaizens when required.
  • Facilitate creation of 90 Days actions plan with assigned Plants directors to address losses based on data to ensure SQCDME goals.
  • Help maintain the requirements for food quality, safety, and defense.
  • Interact with various business partners at the Senior level of plant management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in continuous improvement, production, quality, or maintenance.
  • LEAN SS Black Belt certification.
  • Experience in implementing change management strategies.
  • Hands-on knowledge of related Operating Systems.
  • Preferred LEAN/six sigma accreditation.
  • Food consumer packaged goods experience preferred.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish preferred.
