About The Position

We are currently recruiting for Continuity of Operations (COOP) Planners with a current TS/SCI w/ poly to support a contract located in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidates will be responsible for directorate-wide Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning, procedures, and education. Selected individuals will be responsible for annually updating the framework of COOP planning for all levels of the organization. Will document procedures, plans, identify essential functions/processes, and assess impact of disruptions. Will conduct risk assessments across the organization. Will provide training across the directorate on COOP procedures and protocols. Will engage and brief senior leadership across the organization on COOP related plans and issues. Will collaborate and coordinate with enterprise-wide COOP program and activities. We are seeking candidates with direct experience having planned and coordinated COOP activities in the same customer organization. In addition to planning and program management, the COOP Program Lead will be responsible for directorate-wide COOP education and awareness, ensuring leadership and staff understand continuity requirements, roles, and responsibilities. The position works closely with customer organizations and is ideally suited for candidates with deep, hands-on experience supporting the Customer. Direct CMAP experience is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, emergency management, or related discipline.
  • Experience supporting continuity of operations planning, assessments, or exercises for DoD or IC customers.
  • Familiarity with COOP policies, directives, and architectures (e.g., FCD-1, DoDI 3020 series).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to interface with senior government stakeholders.
  • Must possess a current TS/SCI Polygraph

  • Direct CMAP experience is strongly preferred.
