About The Position

Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey—before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions. Work You'll Do You will support development of plans, procedures, and analyses related to continuity of operations, personnel accountability, evacuation and security, and asset risk management. You will leverage your expertise in crisis and/or emergency management to support new and existing initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience supporting emergency preparedness, response, or federal disaster recovery programs
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio and SharePoint
  • Must live within a commutable distance of Washington, D.C. and be able to work onsite in Washington, D.C. five days a week
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination.
  • Ability to travel 25% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience with continuity of operations (COOP) and continuity of government (COG) planning and program concepts such as Business Impact Analysis and Business Process Analysis
  • 3+ years of previous experience in one or more of the following areas: emergency management, crisis management, risk management, continuity of operations, business continuity, hazard mitigation, critical infrastructure protection, or resilience
