About The Position

The Contingency Management Coordinator will lead a new contingency management program for people with stimulant use disorders with the goal of enrolling and retaining people who use stimulants in treatment for the 12-week contingency management program. The Contingency Management Coordinator will oversee the DMHAS-funded contingency management program to improve the care, support, and engagement of those who find it challenging to maintain engagement in services at Liberation Programs’ outpatient behavioral health clinics in Stamford and Bridgeport. These services will be framed by an understanding of the social determinants of health and their impact on people with stimulant use challenges.

Requirements

  • Self-identified person with lived experience of substance use and in recovery preferred
  • Completed or will complete a recovery-oriented training program
  • Knowledge of the local community and recovery support services, traditional and non-traditional, and demonstrated ability to integrate these resources into treatment
  • Working understanding of mental health disorders and how these diagnoses may impact recovery
  • Have the ability to professionally document services provided
  • Have valid driver’s licenses and transportation

Responsibilities

  • Oversee fidelity and implementation of the DMHAS contingency management program
  • Identify, recruit and engage individuals that may need support for an Stimulant Use Disorder
  • Engage with and maintain relationships with community area health care providers, behavioral health, social services, recovery supports, and additional community-based programs
  • Oversee a caseload of fifty (50) contingency management clients yearly
  • Keep a waitlist of clients hoping to enroll when the program is at capacity of twenty-five (25) enrolled clients
  • Monitor twice-weekly drug tests for contingency management clients
  • Deliver $25 contingency management incentives for all successful drug tests
  • Enter all program data into DMHAS contingency management system and into Liberation's electronic health record
  • Maintain an unbiased, working knowledge of all pathways to recovery, including other services offered at both Liberation Programs and community partners
  • Work collaboratively with clients, their families, community partners, and agency professionals to ensure fidelity and program success
