The position involves assisting in the technical activities necessary to restore or repair commercial and residential personal properties damaged by fire, smoke, water, mold, bio-hazard, and other factors. The role requires responding to job sites as directed and performing all tasks in accordance with company and industry certified standards. You will oversee and manage the Contents Department, which includes estimating and executing all personal property mitigation and contents work involving the removal, cleaning, and storage of contents. Additionally, you will provide direction and coordination of field activities related to installation teams and any coordinated subcontracts, estimating the loss of the entire project through the use of Xactimate, managing the project schedule throughout the project lifecycle, and securing any unique materials or equipment required to complete the project. The position also involves responding to property damage emergency calls, negotiating contents services and insurance claims settlements, planning, organizing, and managing crews and subcontractors, and establishing and maintaining client relationships.
