About The Position

The Contents Technician plays a crucial role in the field presence of the contents division. This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to follow directions effectively. The technician will work under the guidance of the Lead Technician and is responsible for various tasks that ensure the quality and efficiency of the service provided. The role involves physical labor, including lifting and moving items, and requires proactive communication with management and team leaders.

• Ability to lift, bend, pull, and push repeatedly, up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for periods of time up to 8 hours

Responsibilities

• Serve as the backbone of the contents division's field presence
• Work at the direction of the Lead Technician
• Set up work stations, including assembling boxes
• Assist in identifying damaged items
• Gather, sort, and pack affected contents
• Clean and process affected contents
• Utilize applicable cleaning equipment proficiently
• Repackage cleaned contents
• Communicate proactively with management and team leaders
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area
• Follow directions accurately
• Transfer and act on direction from the Contents Operations Manager into physical production
• Collaborate with other Technicians to deliver quality service on time
• Communicate with property managers and owners
• Collect field-related documentation
• Gather all paperwork required on each job
• Manage the use of company supplies and minimize waste
• Maintain company equipment to ensure longevity
