Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in contents manipulation, pack-out, and pack-back services
  • Proven experience with contents cleaning methods (dry cleaning, wet cleaning, specialty items)
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, climb, and work in physically demanding environments
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or on-call when needed
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in restoration or cleaning preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with SERVPRO or another professional restoration company (fire, water, mold) is strongly preferred
  • SERVPRO certification(s) or equivalent restoration training
  • Experience with contents management software (e.g., DASH, Encircle, or similar)
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, OCT, or CCT) a plus
  • Leadership or crew-lead experience is a bonus
  • Certification in water damage restoration or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed pack-out, inventory, cleaning, storage, and pack-back of customer contents.
  • Perform content pack-out services to safely remove and store items from affected properties.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and restoration of contents, including upholstery and textiles.
  • Assess and document the condition of items before and after cleaning.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure high-quality results.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address their concerns and provide updates.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Properly handle, wrap, label, and document personal property using industry standards
  • Safely manipulate furniture, electronics, textiles, and fragile items
  • Maintain accurate inventory records (manual and/or digital systems)
  • Load and unload contents trucks efficiently and safely
  • Follow all safety, cleaning, and restoration protocols
  • Maintain a professional and respectful presence in customer homes
