About The Position

We are seeking a Contents Technician to assist in the inventory, packing, cleaning, and restoration of personal belongings affected by fire, water, mold, or other disasters. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to our customers during difficult times.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in contents restoration, moving, packing, or cleaning is a plus.
Ability to drive a box truck.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.
Comfortable working in various environments, including water-damaged or smoke-affected properties.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Carefully pack and inventory personal property and contents for transport and restoration.
Use specialized cleaning techniques to restore items affected by fire, water, and mold damage.
Operate ultrasonic and other specialized cleaning equipment.
Document items, conditions, and restoration progress using company software.
Communicate with customers regarding the status of their belongings.
Assist in moving and storing customer belongings in a climate-controlled warehouse.
Work closely with the restoration and mitigation teams to ensure a smooth process.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
