About The Position

The Content Strategy Project Coordinator at BNY Mellon plays a crucial role in managing content requests for web publishing and social media channels. This position is part of the Marketing & Communications function and involves coordinating project timelines, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, and facilitating communication among team members and stakeholders. The role requires a hybrid working schedule, with three days in the office each week, and focuses on optimizing workflow processes to enhance efficiency and project delivery.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 2-4 years of project management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced agency or enterprise marketing and communications team.
  • Experience using workflow and project management systems such as Workfront, Asana, JIRA, Monday, ClickUp, etc.
  • Experience writing marketing, campaign or creative briefs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client service mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Own intake of content requests for web publishing and social channels through the team's workflow management platform.
  • Work with Content Strategy Team members and business stakeholders to determine timelines for projects and assign project owners.
  • Act as first reviewer of project requests to ensure all necessary information is available to begin work.
  • Prompt stakeholders to upload relevant project documents into the workflow management platform.
  • Assist in managing priorities across the content strategy team and escalate urgent tasks to leadership.
  • Track and update task statuses and communicate with stakeholders to overcome obstacles.
  • Multi-task and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Own editorial calendars within the workflow management system and ensure teams have up-to-date information.
  • Assist with quarterly reporting initiatives to inform workload balance and improve accuracy.
