About the position

Chime is looking for a Content Strategy Intern to join our Operations and Member Experience team. You will gain valuable professional experience working with content professionals supporting our member service operations and content management systems used to improve the efficiency and day-to-day lives of our agents and members. This is an exciting opportunity to learn while playing a role in a critical initiative at Chime. This role is structured as a 3-month engagement. The starting hourly rate offered for this role and target level of experience will begin at $25 and up to $35. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work with editors, writers, project managers, and other team members to produce and maintain high-impact support content, using AI-powered tools like ChatGPT.
  • Research and develop forward-looking content strategies based on industry standards as well as feedback from chat, voice, written, and social media support agents and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Use data to influence decision-making and show the impact of your work.
  • Help build and manage cross-functional team relationships.
  • Take the lead on a summer project in alignment with the content team's 2025 initiatives.
  • Learn and develop skills related to knowledge base and help center content creation and maintenance, content data analysis, content experimentation, generative AI, and maintaining editorial standards.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field of study with a heavy emphasis on writing.
  • Interest in or experience with content strategy, customer support operations, business, AI, or related fields of study.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Creative thinker and self-starter with a passion for consumer FinTech.
  • Flexible and enjoy doing whatever it takes to execute complex projects, including learning new skills and exploring developing technologies.
  • Have a low ego and are comfortable working directly with a wide range of stakeholders.
