About The Position

Nium is the global infrastructure company powering real-time cross-border payments. Founded to deliver the payments infrastructure of tomorrow, today, we are building a programmable, borderless, and compliant money-movement layer that powers transactions between people, businesses, and intelligent systems — enabling banks, fintechs, payroll providers, travel platforms, marketplaces, and other global enterprises to move money instantly, anywhere in the world. Co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with offices in 14 markets and team members across 20+ countries, we take pride in a culture anchored in Keeping It Simple, Making It Better, and Winning Together. 2025 was the strongest year in our 10-year history, with record revenue, record transaction volumes, and EBITDA profitability — and we are now entering one of the most dynamic chapters in our journey. We believe the best work happens face-to-face, and we operate a hybrid model with three in-office days per week to strengthen collaboration, alignment, and innovation. We move over $50B annually across a network that spans 190+ countries, 100 currencies, and 100 real-time corridors. We power fast payouts to accounts, wallets, and cards; enable local collections in 35 markets; and support card issuance in 34 countries — all backed by licenses across 40+ markets. With over $300M raised to date, Nium offers ambitious builders the opportunity to shape the future of global money movement — at scale. Role Overview We're looking for a strategic, execution-oriented Content Strategist to own and scale content production across Nium's marketing engine. You will partner closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Communications, and Regional Marketing to define content plans, manage an integrated content calendar, and deliver high-quality B2B content that drives awareness, demand, and conversion across our priority segments: Banks & FIs, Fintechs & PSPs, Marketplaces & Platforms, and Global Payroll/EOR providers. This role sits at the center of Nium's content operations—translating complex fintech infrastructure into clear, compelling narratives across written content, video, web experiences, and multimedia formats. You'll write key content yourself while orchestrating internal teams (design, web development, communications) and external partners (agencies, freelancers) to meet aggressive timelines and quality standards. You'll also lead the development and launch of several new content series (written and video) designed to build thought leadership, drive engagement, and support pipeline generation across regions and verticals.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years in content strategy, content marketing, or editorial roles in B2B fintech, payments, or adjacent industries
  • Proven ability to write high-quality content for technical and executive audiences—including thought leadership, case studies, and sales enablement materials
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder content operations and coordinating across internal teams and external partners
  • Experience developing and launching content series (written, video, or multimedia formats) that drive measurable engagement and business outcomes
  • Demonstrated expertise using GenAI tools to enhance content creation and optimization workflows
  • Understanding of B2B buyer journeys and content marketing funnels—able to connect content plans to pipeline and revenue outcomes
  • Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and contractors—including briefing, quality control, and budget management
  • Technical fluency: Comfortable translating complex fintech, payments, and infrastructure concepts into accessible content
  • Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail—able to maintain high standards while moving quickly in fast-paced, high-growth environments

Responsibilities

  • Define and own content plans in partnership with Product Marketing (vertical narratives), Demand Generation (pipeline-driving campaigns), Communications (PR/thought leadership), and Regional Marketing (market-specific needs)
  • Build and maintain an integrated content calendar that aligns production with product launches, campaigns, events, and GTM priorities across regions and segments
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities based on buyer insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data—ensuring content supports the full buyer journey
  • Track content performance and continuously optimize the content mix based on engagement metrics and business outcomes
  • Write high-quality B2B content including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, website copy, thought leadership articles, sales enablement materials, and executive messaging—translating complex technical concepts into clear narratives for diverse audiences
  • Lead the development of new content series (written and video) designed to build thought leadership and drive pipeline—owning ideation, scripting, production coordination, and distribution
  • Oversee video content production, including scripting, coordinating with internal/external resources, and managing post-production workflows
  • Operate as the central orchestrator of content production—managing workflows, tracking deliverables, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring on-time delivery across multiple concurrent projects
  • Partner with internal teams including design, web development, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Communications, and Regional Marketing to produce market-facing assets and ensure strategic alignment
  • Manage relationships with content and research agencies, freelance writers, videographers, and contractors—briefing, managing timelines, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing for cost-efficiency
  • Leverage GenAI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to accelerate content ideation, research, drafting, editing, and optimization
  • Experiment with AI-powered workflows to improve speed, quality, and scalability—while maintaining editorial standards and brand voice
