The Content Specialist Intern will join the creative team, contributing to compelling, on-brand content across social media, blogs, email, and websites. This is a paid internship with the intent to extend a full-time offer upon successful completion. Strategie commits to investing in the intern's training, mentorship, and development from day one, ensuring content is consistent, strategic, and delivered on time, while the intern learns the company's tools, processes, and client approach.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Able to commit to the full duration of the internship and interested in transitioning into a full-time role upon successful completion

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship, freelance, coursework, or personal project experience in content writing or copywriting
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Basic understanding of SEO/AIO principles and keyword integration
  • Exposure to email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
  • Awareness of content management systems (WordPress, Squarespace, or similar)
  • Any prior exposure to a marketing, creative, or agency environment
  • Degree or in pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Responsibilities

  • Draft content across channels, including social media captions, blog posts, and long-form written content, tailored to each client’s brand voice and SEO/AIO goals, with guidance and feedback from senior team members
  • Help develop and update copy for website projects; support asset preparation, such as image resizing and formatting for web use
  • Assist with drafting, formatting, and scheduling email marketing campaigns and automated sequences
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure copy and visuals work together
  • Work with the account team to understand client goals and deadlines, and incorporate feedback efficiently across deliverables
  • Research trends, industries, competitors, and audiences to inform content strategy
  • Contribute to the development of brand messaging, tone, and voice for branding projects and client campaigns
  • Participate in regular 1:1s, feedback sessions, and learning opportunities designed to prepare you for a full-time Content Specialist role
