About The Position
Providence Life Services is seeking a dedicated Content Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team. This full-time position plays a crucial role in collaboratively planning and creating engaging content across various media channels, newsletters, and other outlets. The Content Specialist will be responsible for producing a wide range of content, including advertisements for print, web, radio, and television, as well as magazines, newsletters, and general communications pieces. The work produced will support Providence Life Services' mission to enhance the lives we serve in the name of Jesus Christ. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who can cultivate new content ideas and stay abreast of emerging content trends. This position requires a proactive approach to developing and executing campaigns that build brand awareness and increase marketing leads. The Content Specialist will also be responsible for monitoring and responding to online reputation management, managing the corporate communications email account, and contributing to the digital content strategy planning in collaboration with other marketing team members. In addition to content creation, the role involves proofreading and editing various materials, conducting interviews for newsletters and blog articles, and submitting communication pieces to community calendars and local publications. The Content Specialist will also update website copy as needed and ensure that all content aligns with the organization's mission and values.
