About The Position

Anchour is hiring a Content Production Specialist to support custom landing page development, ongoing website updates, large-scale content migrations, and SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) efforts across our client portfolio. This is a great entry point into agency life for someone early in their career who’s excited to learn, grow, and contribute across digital channels. In this role, you’ll work closely with designers, developers, strategists, and marketers to bring high-quality, conversion-focused digital experiences to life. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining custom landing pages, executing site updates, supporting complex content migrations for large clients, and assisting with light content planning and organization. This hybrid, Maine-based position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, comfort working in content management systems like WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, and Webflow, and an interest in search visibility and AI-driven discovery platforms. In most cases, this role will involve executing from existing designs and direction provided by our creative team. However, the ideal candidate should also bring creative judgment and flexibility. They should be able to independently build custom landing pages, manage structured content updates, and support large-scale migrations while maintaining consistency with brand, UX, and optimization standards. This is a fast-paced, cross-functional role that plays a critical part in bringing content and campaigns to life across digital touchpoints. Maine-based applicants are preferred, with hybrid and remote flexibility considered for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing, web production, content, or related roles
  • Experience working with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, or Webflow
  • Experience building custom landing pages and supporting website updates
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and interest in GEO/AI search ecosystems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow content and brand guidelines
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in one day
  • Clear written communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Experience assisting with content migrations or large website projects (preferred)
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, structured data, or templating systems

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain custom landing pages and campaign pages across WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, and Webflow
  • Execute ongoing website updates, enhancements, and content revisions
  • Support large-scale content migrations for website rebuilds
  • Add, format, and update web content using established templates and component librarie
  • Use approved design files and creative direction to implement content accurately
  • Make informed layout, hierarchy, and styling decisions when building pages without formal mockups.
  • Migrate, validate, and QA content for new website launches and major rebuilds
  • Format and publish blogs, images, and product content in alignment with brand standards
  • Make light copy edits and content adjustments when needed
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices, including headings, metadata, internal linking, redirects, and structured content
  • Optimize landing pages and site content for visibility in traditional search engines and generative AI platforms
  • Support keyword research and content optimization initiatives
  • Assist with schema markup, page structure, and technical SEO fundamentals
  • Ensure content is formatted for clarity, authority, and AI-readability
  • Collaborate with strategy, copy, and analytics teams to support organic growth goals
  • Assist with content audits, inventories, migration mapping, and other content planning activities
  • Support content outlines, page planning, and sitemap development
  • Help organize content for large website builds
  • QA websites and landing pages before launch to ensure accuracy, consistency, and optimization standards
  • Monitor performance metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversions
  • Support site refreshes, optimization initiatives, and ongoing improvements
  • Conduct light research on SEO/GEO trends, tools, and competitors
  • Assist with website reporting as needed
