As a Content Operations Manager at Meta, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational aspects of content development and publishing for immersive platforms like Meta Quest. This position involves collaborating with various teams to manage large work streams, drive procurement and financial operations, and enhance cross-functional processes to support the content strategy effectively.

  • Provide comprehensive operations support to Content Organization teams responsible for sourcing, developing, and publishing digital content.
  • Plan, track, and execute operational initiatives from concept phase to post-rollout support.
  • Establish action plans and timelines consistent with organizational goals and objectives, monitoring and holding teams accountable.
  • Maintain accurate budget management, tracking, and reporting of team's planned and actual spend.
  • Drive procurement and contract frameworks enabling timely execution of deals and service agreements.
  • Own supplier onboarding and procurement processes for third-party developers.
  • Parse multiple sources of information and consolidate into concise summaries tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for contract execution, purchase orders, and procurement for select teams.
  • Ensure cross-functional partners have the information they need through accurate Salesforce data.
  • Support efficient launch readiness flows, partnering with content owners and QA teams.
  • Codify processes to create and maintain a knowledge base that promotes self-serve practices.
  • Demonstrate and promote high attention to detail when documenting workflows, schedules, and trackers.
  • Exhibit a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • 5+ years project and/or program management experience in digital content development teams.
  • At least 2 years experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Career focus and interest in the Business Operations field.
  • Knowledgeable in various project management tool sets.
  • Proven experience establishing operational processes with autonomy.
  • Proven experience working effectively with a diverse range of colleagues and partners.
  • Proven experience managing time-sensitive projects through to completion.
  • BA/BSc or equivalent.
  • Interest in technology, XR, and GenAI industries.
  • Experience working in the games and/or entertainment industries.
  • Experience with a variety of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Jira, and/or other productivity/CRM tools.
  • Experience working directly with 3rd party content developers.
  • Familiarity with applications development, QA, and Localization processes.
