About The Position

Assist with the development and implementation of the Company content management system (CCMS) and provide ongoing feedback to make improvements Create and maintain style guides/templates that adhere to current standards and support use in a Global market Collaborate with multiple departments to build consensus throughout the content development process and the life of the product. Develop and maintain a strong working and technical knowledge of company products and services and an understanding of company approved standards Work cross functionally to deliver quality content within project timelines

Requirements

  • 2-4 years' related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Job requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Technical Communications or related field with experience in technical writing
  • Skilled in visual and written information development
  • Good written/verbal communications, organizational and listening skills, and strong in grammar rules
  • Experience in authoring technical content for a Global market would be a plus
  • Knowledge of DITA/XML content authoring and component content management systems
  • Effective research, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Experience with oXygen, Author/Editor, Acrolinx, Ovitas CLS, and In Design
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Frame Maker, and PTC IsoDraw and other multimedia production software
