 Content Developer I
Author and develop service content, including safety information.
Assist with the development and implementation of the Company content management system (CCMS) and provide ongoing feedback to make improvements
Create and maintain style guides/templates that adhere to current standards and support use in a Global market
Collaborate with multiple departments to build consensus throughout the content development process and the life of the product.
Develop and maintain a strong working and technical knowledge of company products and services and an understanding of company approved standards
Work cross functionally to deliver quality content within project timelines

Requirements

• 2-4 years' related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Job requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Technical Communications or related field with experience in technical writing
• Skilled in visual and written information development
• Good written/verbal communications, organizational and listening skills, and strong in grammar rules
• Experience in authoring technical content for a Global market would be a plus
• Knowledge of DITA/XML content authoring and component content management systems
• Effective research, problem solving and decision making skills
• Experience with oXygen, Author/Editor, Acrolinx, Ovitas CLS, and In Design
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Frame Maker, and PTC IsoDraw and other multimedia production software
