About The Position

This role is responsible for designing and developing a blend of eLearning and instructor-led training solutions tailored to the needs of various departments. This role collaborates closely with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to gather, analyze, and synthesize content into engaging and effective learning experiences. The specialist translates complex and technical information into clear, learner-friendly formats that align with adult learning principles and business objectives. Additionally, the role ensures all training materials are instructionally sound, visually cohesive, and consistent with the organization's tone, brand, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in instructional design or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in adult learning and training development
  • Expertise in software systems documentation and training
  • Instructional design experience with a portfolio demonstrating eLearning and ILT projects
  • Expert knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of adult learning best practices for developing curriculum and/ or delivering instruction.
  • Identifies performance/behavior gaps, makes recommendations, and provides solutions in order to improve business performance, increase retention, or develop future leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve practical, relevant, and accurate curriculum to include instructor-led materials (textbooks, workbooks, PowerPoints, etc.), e-Learning, exam items, and curriculum support items.
  • Design and develop blended learning solutions (eLearning and ILT) to support a multi-phase change initiative.
  • Manage file structure, document versioning, and rollout process to create and publish curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively within the training and development team to establish best practices
  • Support team development and maintain strong internal communications
  • Identifies performance/behavior gaps, makes recommendations, and provides solutions in order to improve business performance, increase retention, or develop future leaders.
