Stand TogetherWashington, DC
11d$60,000 - $80,000Hybrid

About The Position

Young Voices is seeking a Content Creator — a working digital creator and classical liberal voice who can help develop the next generation of liberty communicators. This is a rare kind of role: The ideal candidate is already building an audience, already active in legacy and digital media, and already living the career trajectory that Young Voices’ contributor program is designed to produce. They will bring that firsthand experience to bear as a content creator, program co-designer, and talent coach — all at once. Based in New York City or Washington, DC, the Content Creator will produce original content, maintain a regular media presence, cultivate relationships across the NYC or DC media scene, and work directly with contributors to accelerate their growth as digital voices for liberty. The Content Creator reports to the Director of Programs and is a full-time position with flexibility for remote work. Young Voices operates on a hybrid work schedule, with two WFH days per week.

Requirements

  • An established public voice in the classical liberal or broader liberty movement, with an active and growing audience across at least one major platform.
  • Demonstrated experience as a working creator in the digital media landscape.
  • Strong coaching and mentorship instincts.
  • Familiarity with the creator economy's tools, incentive structures, and pitfalls, and the ability to translate that knowledge into practical program design.
  • A track record of identifying emerging trends in digital media before they become conventional wisdom.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a natural ability to tailor messaging across platforms and audiences.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York City or Washington, DC.
  • Deep alignment with Young Voices' pro-liberty mission.

  • Secure and fulfill regular appearances in legacy media — broadcast, podcast, and print — in coordination with Young Voices media staff.

  • Review and approve training materials to ensure they reflect current platform realities and the needs of early-career digital creators.
  • Monitor the digital creator landscape for emerging platforms, formats, and strategies
  • Identify and coach high-potential digital commentators in YV’s contributor program on building their digital presence and personal brand.
  • Deliver select training sessions, workshops, and bootcamps for YV’s contributors and partners
