About The Position

THE·TEAM is seeking a Content Creator to contribute to creative ideation and asset creation for a major tech company, with a focus on tech, mobile, and gaming. You are a hands-on creator across all phases of concepting and production. You know how to film yourself and be authentic on-screen talent. Able to write and film original content, you also work with existing photo and video assets to create engaging, innovative edits. With a passion for evolving your craft, you experiment with new techniques across trends, editing, and film styles. You understand social platforms and have your finger on the pulse of culture. Most importantly, you have a genuine interest in tech and video games. Whether the topic is PC, mobile, console, or next gen, you're a natural. What you’ll do: Your day-to-day work will include working with an Art + Copy team and Designer to concept and develop assets across multiple platforms, but primarily for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, or other short-form video formats. This means brainstorming for social campaigns, writing scripts, filming content, and/or editing videos. You will also have the support of an ACD, CD, strategist, social media manager, account and production teams. If you have a passion for social storytelling, this role is for you. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring in-office presence three days per week at our Los Angeles location.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience creating social video content for brands
  • Ability to concept multiple ideas and communicate them effectively
  • On-camera experience related to social media
  • A wizard with Adobe Premiere Pro, AfterEffects or similar, and native social media editing in-app tools, like on TikTok and CapCut
  • An eye for screen composition, lighting, and color
  • Able to write down your ideas clearly as well as craft a script with a natural tone of voice that is fitting to the brand
  • The skills to use the same assets across various formats to create a cohesive content ecosystem
  • The ability to collaborate across internal teams
  • A knack for picking up brands’ visual identities, and following them
  • A passion for and understanding culture and wanting to tell human focused stories
  • An understanding and passion for social media, and thinking social-first
  • Understanding of image display standards on all social platforms
  • Commitment to learning — asking questions when something isn’t clear, being open to learning, and eager to collaborate.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Keynote

Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating a wide range of content/assets that supports the brand (:20-:60 videos, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Stories/Reels, and beyond).
  • Participate in brainstorms, communicate and present concepts, and take direction and feedback from Creative Directors and Account Leads.
  • Keep up to date on the latest cultural and gaming trends.
