Are you the "plugged-in" parent who always knows where the newest splash pad is? Do you have a knack for capturing the magic of a local fair and the business savvy to help that fair reach more families?
Mommy Poppins is looking for a Local Creator & Business Development Ambassador. This is a unique, hybrid role for a creative storyteller who is also a natural "hunter" for new partnerships. You won’t just be posting Reels—you’ll be the face of Mommy Poppins in your city, building a thriving local network and earning direct commissions by connecting local businesses to our platform.

The Gig: Content + Connection + Commerce
You’ll combine on-the-ground storytelling with active community outreach to grow our presence and your paycheck.
Create & Capture: Produce 2 original Reels per week plus supporting social content that reflects firsthand experience and "new and notable" family trends.
Drive Revenue & Partnerships: Actively scout and pitch local businesses (venues, attractions, shops). You’ll identify leads, build relationships, and participate in our Local Partnership Program to secure collaborations.
Be the Local Authority: Monitor your city for openings, events, and trends. You are the eyes and ears of Mommy Poppins.
Engage & Activate: Grow a loyal local audience by responding to comments and fostering a sense of community among parents.
Strategic Growth: Share local leads with the broader team and pitch content ideas based on real-time community insights.

Requirements

• Live in the Boston area.
• You aren’t afraid to walk into a new local business, introduce yourself, and pitch a great idea.
• You understand the "Mommy Poppins" aesthetic and know how to make high-quality, engaging Reels.
• You are motivated by performance-based pay and love the idea of building a "territory."
• You can manage a content calendar while simultaneously tracking partnership leads and follow-ups.
• This is a work-from-home, freelance 1099 contractor opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2 original Reels per week plus supporting social content that reflects firsthand experience and "new and notable" family trends.
