LSU Online & Continuing Education is seeking a detail-oriented Content Coordinator who will create, schedule, and distribute content across social media platforms. In this role, you will carry out a strategic social media schedule designed to elevate brand visibility, engage with target audiences, and achieve organizational goals. The Content Coordinator will report to the Communications Manager and align social media messaging with broader marketing campaigns, manage content calendars, and analyze performance metrics.

  • Develop, schedule, and distribute content tailored to each social media platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure visuals and messaging align with marketing campaigns.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar.
  • Assist the Communications Manager in executing a strategic communications plan to meet organizational goals.
  • Align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
  • Implement trends, tools, and best practices to improve social media strategy.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Compile findings and provide insights to optimize future content and strategies.
  • Conduct industry analysis to identify areas for growth.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely manner.
  • Work with internal teams to align messaging and integrate social media initiatives with broader campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all social media platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Substantial experience in the key job responsibilities if minimum qualifications are not met.
  • 3-5 years in social media management, marketing, communications, or a related field.
