About The Position

As the parent company of brands like CURREX and PowerStep, we design innovative, activity-specific products engineered to help people move better, feel better, and stay active longer. We are seeking a highly creative, sports-savvy Social Content & Brand Activation Specialist to capture authentic athlete and consumer moments, fuel social media growth, and bring our brands to life across digital, retail, and in-person environments. This role will primarily focus on Currex, but may work with other brands in the Foundation Wellness Portfolio. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in social content creation, sports content, influencer coordination, or a similar role
  • Strong creative instincts and understanding of social trends, hooks, and storytelling
  • A genuine passion for sports - comfortable interacting with athletes, influencers, coaches, and event staff
  • Ability to travel frequently to events (approximately 50% travel)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with influencer management platforms (e.g., AspireIQ, Cohley, Grin) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Capture content of athletes, teams, events, customers, and real users at tournaments, races, expos, gyms, and retail activations.
  • Film and create dynamic short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Stories, YouTube Shorts).
  • Edit content using native social tools and mobile editing apps (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Canva).
  • Create platform-native, trending content using existing brand assets (photos, footage, influencer clips, athlete content, lifestyle imagery, etc.)
  • Develop engaging concepts for social content using storytelling, humor, trends, transitions, or hooks that align with CURREX brand tone.
  • Write engaging, on-brand copy for captions, on-screen text, and storytelling elements.
  • Publish real-time content during key sporting events and brand activations.
  • Own the planning, scheduling, and execution of the organic social content calendar, ensuring content aligns with campaign priorities, product launches, and brand storytelling goals.
  • Stay ahead of social trends, editing styles, transitions, audio, and emerging formats across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Snapchat.
  • Monitor sports, athlete, and fitness content trends to inform creative direction.
  • Conduct competitor reviews across running, basketball, soccer, pickleball, and outdoor categories to identify opportunities.
  • Support relationships with influencers and athletes once contracts are signed, ensuring all deliverables, timelines, and brand guidelines are met.
  • Coordinate athlete and influencer PR boxes, content kits, and seasonal gifting.
  • Collect and share influencer-generated content for use in organic, paid, email, and retail channels.
  • Direct athletes or event participants when needed and capture candid, authentic moments.
