Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Energetic, customer-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into a computer terminal.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card.
• Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Experience or willingness to learn International Institute of Container Lessors (IICL) repair standards and practices.
• Prior experience in container inspection or repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all types of shipping containers, including maritime, domestic, and intermodal equipment.
• Estimate necessary repairs based on IICL, Cargo Worthy, Wind and Water Tight, and other relevant inspection standards.
• Document repairs completed beyond the original estimate and assist in generating supplemental repair estimates.
• Perform quality control inspections on all repaired equipment.
• Operate powered industrial equipment as required.
• Maintain a detailed and organized record of inspections, estimates, and completed repairs.
• Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure high-quality service.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
