About The Position

The purpose of this position is to safely and efficiently move trailers (containers, tankers, etc.) throughout the facility while maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred.
Demonstrated commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) stewardship.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Ability to multi-task, learn quickly, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous heavy equipment operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect and safely operate the yard dog and other assigned equipment.
Read, understand, and follow all applicable operating procedures.
Review and understand documentation related to trailers and container movements.
Operate and troubleshoot assigned equipment as needed.
Coordinate with internal departments to move and position trailers as required.
Accurately log and maintain operational data.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Identify and understand the properties and hazards of chemicals handled within the facility.
Identify and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for assigned tasks.
Identify, communicate, and help mitigate unsafe behaviors and conditions.
Comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
